MedVis uses volume rendering techniques to construct 3D mesh from CF and MRI datasets. The resulting meshes can be observed in immersion using a CAVE. Color is used to encode the transfer function.
Navigation uses the wand’s joystick, i.e. forward and backward allow panning while left and right allow rotation. The mapping of the transfer function can be altered, i.e. changing color and opacity, using 3D floating menu and raycast selection from the wand.
