To support structural molecular biology this system used a 3D stereo screen with head tracking. The visualization remains classical with molecules represented as sphere and connection between them as thin cylinder. The particularity is to allows full navigation using a touch tablet, offering 7-degree of freedom, i.e. 3 translation, 3 rotations, and uniform scaling.
